Just back from a massive week doing the Lepontine Alps ski tour on the Swiss-Italian border. The week didn’t start too auspiciously, when I got my sack caught in the chairlift and managed to rip the waist and shoulder strap off before skiing anywhere…
Half an hour later, with repairs completed we finally set off to the Rotondo Hut, taking in some lovely powder slopes en route.
Highlights of a great week included the Cristallina, Basodino, Couloir di Ban and amazing powder down to Munster today, fully 3 weeks after the last significant dump – a day to live long in the memory.
