Our Alpine Summer Season is now well under way, with a good start on our first 4000m Peaks Course last week – plenty of skills and climbing, leading to a great finish on the Gran Paradiso. There’s currently amazing amounts of snow still around at mid altitudes from the big winter we’ve just had – that’s the first time I’ve ever put crampons on outside the door of the Vitorio Emanuele Hut in order to climb the Gran Paradiso – super quick descent too!
