*Ice Private Guiding Tailor made courses are available for all the itineraries above, as well as private guiding as usual throughout the winter. Standard Guiding Rates - these apply for all valley icefall climbing. For alpine routes and winter couloirs, standard rates apply for most routes up to grade D (see notes below) and include guiding fees and use of the guides car (unless negotiated otherwise). Please note that we organise private guiding on a 'guiding fee plus expenses' basis - so when visiting areas away from our summer base in Chamonix, you must also cover guides' travel and accommodation expenses. Premium Guiding Rates For longer, more involved mountain ice routes routes at grade D or above, premium guiding rates may apply and are paid as a supplement on a per route basis.
